The Montreal restaurants have always been good at offering a wide variety of menus. Doing the rounds of the Montreal’s restaurants is a little bit like a trip around the world: one can savour dishes from Italy, Greece, Latin America, South America, the Orient, etc. No matter what your tastes are, Montreal has the restaurant you’re looking for.

Montreal is the region of Canada counting the biggest number of restaurants awarded with the Four Diamonds, given by Canadian (CAA) and American (AAA) motorists associations. Cafés, pubs and gourmet restaurants propose a variety of dishes adapted to every tastes and budgets.

It is the custom, in restaurants, to give a tip representing 10 % to 15 % of the total amount of the bill before taxes. The service is rarely included. Tips for taxi drivers, doorkeepers, bellboys and hairdressers are left at your discretion.
